adventures in weekending: yet another bbq (not that i'm complaining)

My parents held another one of their ever-famous barbecues, so me and Bob made sure to be present for the fun.  And I'm so glad we were.  In spite of the epic heat, we had tons of food, fun and laughs with family friends.

Bob is always trying to catch me in awkward, candid moments (read: mouth open, eyes closed...that kind of thing). Luckily, he caught me this time with eyes wide open and a smile.

A sassy new visitor named Milo.

And my favorite part: desserts!  Pastries from the Hispanic bakery, cheesecake, chocolate cake, apple pie, cannolis...

I had a little bit of everything...and I went for seconds. Naturally.
