new camera alert!

just wanted to say a quick thank-you to the people that gave me some suggestions for my new camera!  i seriously considered everything (price, quality, ease, etc.) and i made the decision that my original choice, the nikon d3000, was best for what i was looking for.

so happy with my new purchase!  i can't stop playing around with it and snapping pictures.  click, click, click...i love that sound. 

i went into the backyard for some nature and natural lighting. enjoy some of my first photos with this camera!

Beautiful! I would LOVE to get a new camera, but it's not in the budget right now. But as a result, I've learned to fiddle with more settings on my Canon point & shoot and have learned to take much better pictures. Have fun with the new camera!

i found that if i played around with the settings on my little kodak digicam, it took way better pictures, too. the trick is in the settings, absolutely.
